AS TIME GOES BY

This original work, performed at the Sydney Opera House in 2024 by the amazing Peter Coleman-Wright AO and Australian Saxophone ensemble The Nexas Quartet, explores themes of introspection, legacy, and coming to terms with one’s life & past experiences.

driftlight

My original work, ‘Driftlight’, was the winner of Cello Dreaming’s annual Call For Scores composition competition. This debut, performed by cello choir consisting of professional and emerging instrumentalists, took place at the 2026 Summer Intensive Retreat, Eudlo Hall, Queensland. Thank you to Louise King for the recording and for organising such a fantastic program.

“A melancholic reflection of warm, childhood memories. A time when the world seemed vast, the future incomprehensible, and each day a new experience. Driftlight captures that summer’s glow: the ocean passing by a car’s window; the carefree feeling of sand beneath one’s feet; the freedom of a life yet unburdened.”

DECISION FATIGUE - SCORE VISUALISER

'Decision Fatigue' is a composition written for full orchestra - performed alongside the score play-by-play.

This work was inspired by a lack of inspiration and the mental journey one goes on when pushing through it.

INNERMIND

Written for SATB vocals and keyboard/loopstation, INNERMIND is a compositional journey into existentialist understanding: a reflection on self-significance and purpose, explored through three distinct stages of thought. Delve into fantastic soundscapes and question your metaphysicality, disquietude, cognisance, and conclusivity in this epic, 30 minute composition.

Featuring the fantastic voices of Laura Wachsmann (Soprano), Samantha Hurenkamp (Alto), Alexander Caldwell (Tenor) & Aidan O’Donnell (Bass).
